The Business Track, launched by Adidas and Pensole, works to diversify the sportswear industry by giving underrepresented voices access to the entire footwear journey—from concept to retail. This 3-part mini documentary series follows the creation of the “Track 45” Adistar, designed with boutique retailer Puffer Reds in celebration of its 45th anniversary. The shoe pays homage to Detroit and Ypsilanti, with design cues rooted in music, local culture, and community heritage. By blending authentic storytelling with opportunity, the initiative highlights how collaboration can elevate sneaker culture while honoring the communities that inspire it.
