Myrtis Dightman Sr. made history in 1966 as the first black cowboy to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo after founding the Prairie View Trail Riders 9 years prior. This short film explores how Myrtis's family is keeping the legacy alive over nearly 70 Years later. Honoring Black Excellence is part of an initiative fostered by Adidas to hilight influential black change makers.
